This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in the Portland, OR office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a Finance Team Liaison (FTL) to Assigned States and Program or National Teams (40%)
Serve as Finance Team Liaison (FTL) to assigned states and/or national program teams, providing a broad range of financial and accounting services and support, including monthly variance reporting and assisting in the creation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
Provide modeling and grant budget support, as requested.
Serve as a thought partner, from a financial perspective, for assigned teams in efforts to improve efficiencies and become more cost-effective.
Serve as the first point of contact for finance-related questions from assigned State and National Programs.
Serve as the Quarterly Forecasting and Annual Budgeting Project Manager (30%)
Act as the Project Manager, in close coordination with the Controller, to support the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes, including building calendars, communications, and providing timely and accurate milestone reports.
Serve as the super user of Adaptive software to deliver timely templates supporting forecasting and budgeting needs.
Prepare reports on financial performance tailored to the needs of leadership.
Function as the Senior Revenue Accountant in the Monthly Close and Year-End Audit Process and Prepare Tax/Business Filings (30%)
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, owning the preparation of the revenue workbook, reviewing FTL-related restricted revenue releases, and partnering with the Controller on the national releases.
Prepare the monthly Net Asset rollforward and complete monthly reconciliations and account analyses of all Receivables and Deferred Revenue accounts.
Support invoice creation from Salesforce for CHSS and CELLs, partnering with the appropriate FTL.
Lead revenue recognition functions, including: 1) Reviewing and analyzing incoming grant and pledge agreements to determine appropriate revenue recognition; 2) Assisting with the monthly release of national restricted revenue; 3) Reviewing Finance Team Liaison recommendations for monthly releases.
Completing monthly revenue analysis and reconciliations between Accounting (NetSuite) and Development (Salesforce); 4) Conducting regular meetings with Gift Processing to ensure expected payments have been received and processed in a timely manner; 5) Providing additional revenue analysis and reporting as requested.Support the annual audit process, including coordination of all revenue-related documentation and preparation of the net asset schedule.
Prepare timely and accurate non-payroll tax filings, including: 1) IRS Form 990; 2) FEC Form 1; and 3) Corporate and business registrations
QUALIFICATIONS
Passionate commitment to Stand for Children's mission of educational success and social progress.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA, MBA, or CMA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of directly relevant professional accounting and analysis experience in a complex, multi-entity ERP environment.
Passion for continuous improvement and transformation of business processes.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively support colleagues with accounting and finance challenges.
Ability to communicate respectfully and clearly in person, through email, by phone, and through video conferencing.
High level of comfort with technology and experience with cloud-based ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency in Adaptive and Excel, including complex data analysis.
Familiarity with PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
Outstanding time management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration as part of a team.
Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the Portland, OR office.
COMPENSATION
Starting Salary Range: $101,200 – $126,500, commensurate with experience.
