About Rose Community Foundation
Rose Community Foundation strives to strengthen local communities, expand opportunities, and address critical needs throughout Greater Denver and beyond through values-driven philanthropy. The Foundation supports a broad range of issue areas, including health, economic opportunity, education, Jewish life, and community well-being through grantmaking, advocacy, convening, investments, and philanthropic services.
Founded following the 1995 sale of Rose Medical Center, the Foundation traces its roots to the Jewish community's efforts in the 1940s to create equitable access to healthcare at a time when Jewish physicians and physicians of color faced discrimination in hospital privileges. Since its inception, Rose Community Foundation has awarded more than $450 million in grants and now manages approximately $433 million in assets while distributing nearly $30 million annually through discretionary grants and donor-advised funds.
